Confirmed today by the club, true legend and gutted to see him go. Hope he plays Sunday but doubt he will as Roy isn’t sentimental

Genuinely a legend at the club. If ever a player deserved a testimonial it’s him.

If we beat Bournemouth and West Ham lose and goal difference stays similar then we earn another £3m At best he’ll be on the bench and will play last ten min if we are winning by two clear goals. But doubtful. Very doubtful

Great servant of our club on and off the pitch. Would be great to see him play at the weekend perhaps come on as a sub for a proper ovation !

Roy should give him a run out, upfront if necessary.

Not sure why he shouldn't stay as 3rd choice; he won't give you grief about lack of game-time and still has plenty to offer and will only be there for emergencies anyway. Also a good role model. Will go down as a legend whatever happens, absolute superstar for us.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

What a sad day to be an Eagle. I remember watching his debut at Carrow Road in 2004 with his terrible barnet. He looked as dodgy as fcuk after his clangers against Everton and away at Portsmouth and was dropped for Kiraly. Who'd have thought 15 years later he'd still be at the club, hold several records and be a fans favourite. A real gentlemen and a fantastic servant to our club. Well worthy of his legend status. Sadly all good things must come to an end. Sir Julian, good luck in whatever you do next, you will always be welcome at Selhurst Park and hope one day you will be back at Palace in some kind of role.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Should be kept on in some capacity as a coach or Brighty style ambassador if he wants it.
