Would anyone want the legend Steve Coppell back at Palace at the end of the season to give him another crack at taking us on to better things? I personally would...

No.
There's a time for everyone. Coppell was fantastic. Took us from nothing to third in the top tier, and cup final.
Since then everything has changed. Unfortunately.

If we want some to 'take us on to better things', then looking way back to the past isn't a good method

we got a small budget, a broken 30 million quid striker, a crappy stadium and this manager got us league survival plus a win at the Etihad.

talk about a lack of gratitude !!

No recent experience, so no

But I’m pleased his assistant Ray Lexington is with Roy

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

In charge of our scouting and youth policy absolutely.

His time as a manager has gone but I think he could still help finding and developing talent.

See no point going back Steve is a legend and should remain that way. I am more than happy with the job RH is doing... always be very very careful what you wish for
