… was in plain evidence during the coverage of Millwall v Brighton. You think he could afford a hair transplant like Wayne Rooney. Never have I enjoyed Brighton winning as much - in fact I never enjoyed the experience before. Sir Bobby, Ralph Coates, Lombardo, Terry Mancini and now Sheringham, can you think up any more footballing baldies, or even better Palace spams?

f***er looked 40 when he was 20, and now he's 50 still looks 40.

He's got a bizarre old fashioned face which I can't get past to judge the rug.

Zidane had a bald spot and a half. Arjen Robben went for the Shearer tide going out look. David Armstrong’s Barnet leapt out when he was about 23. John Dempsey might have been bald if he hadn’t had a truly bizarre hair creation going on.

No way that was a syrup. If it was, why would he buy one with a hole in the back?
But mental that a man that we have known for 40 years , with fair hair, decides to dye it dark brown , when he started to go grey.
If he could pick his hair dye aswell as he could pick a pass, he’d have been ok.

I started to go grey in my early forties so tried out Just For Men to remind myself what I used to look like.

I paid my daily visit to the local off licence and the attractive girl behind the counter took one look at me and burst out laughing.

Perhaps 'Grecian 2000' might have been better.

Older women dye their hair and this is accepted but once a gentleman of advanced years does this and it is obvious, he can be the centre of ridicule.

I have to admit that I never saw Sheringham on the TV so have no view as to whether he was a wearer of a toupee. No shame in adorning a weave or undergoing hair replacement treatment. For avoidance of doubt I can confirm I have not availed of either !

My mistake I should have gone to a hairdresser and had it coloured properly which is what women do. The do it yourself kits for men are not very good. Today I am facing a race between going white (already grey) and losing my hair I don't care ah the follies of youth.

I am led to believe that certain older ladies actually change the colour of their hair at home.

In terms of gentleman, if one is of advanced years with a well-weathered face, a jet black mane is not the best look and having witnessed this look I have concluded that the person in question would have been better advised to display their grey locks.Grey and white can look quite distinguished on both males and females.
