Not a big fan of VAR on the whole. However, could be a distinct advantage for us v Watford. Their repeated challenges on Wilf will come into closer focus - remember the challenge on Andros by the Grimsby lad in the 3rd round game that got upgraded from yellow to red card. There are bound to be penalty shouts in the box that will also get greater attention...hopefully revealing that our man really isn't the diver they make him out to be. So for once I'm glad the VAR will be available.

I am not going to hold my breath on this one, Sod’s law will kick in and we will get jimmy Mc sent off and Wilf will give a penalty away.

I'm a fan of it and agree with the OP... Hopefully it will stop them getting away with kicking lumps out of Wilf!!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

We will have to be careful as well, not just them. Luka needs to be a bit less enthusiastic with some of his tackles and Dann if he plays will have to try to find another way to defend corners without hanging on to someone’s shirt.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

We managed to concede 3 goals against ten men when we played Brighton at their place so perhaps if Knockaert had been sent off we would have lost by more than we did

We managed to concede two goals against ten men and one against twelve which being the first goal was extremely pivotal to our performance when we played Brighton at their place so perhaps if Knockaert had been sent off we could have caused them more problems by having less of them in our face defending. And Dann would have conceded a penalty The game would have been a lot different, they would have had to change their attacking ideas utterly, we probably still wouldn't have scored in open play because they would have defended us to death and they would've booted the ball up field even more and if Murray (hadn't been subbed with the sending off) had been there with Tomkins farting about they could have caused even more problems! Ten men ruins football, instead the team who is fouled should be allowed to bring on another player so 12 against 11 and that will not ruin it for the fans.
