I think we should play them both up front like Wright and Bright. Both pkayed for Belguim in that role.

I agree with this idea but Roy won't change and play that way

The Manager needs to play his favourites, Ayew and Schlupp, so this is unlikely.

Would love to see a 4-4-2 with Wilf and Andros on the wings and Luka behind Max centrally.

Doubt it would happen.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

This article agrees with you, I think you’re both right! I don’t think Hodgson is especially rigid, he just hasn’t had the option. He did after use a two forward option including the Batman on Saturday

Schlupp played well against Fulham. However, for this weekend I would be surprised if he started.

I can see us playing 4-4-2 with Benteke and Batshuiyi up front, the usual back 4 and Zaha, Luka, Macca and Townsend in midfield.

Formidable!

Zaha is likely to get an additional ban so don't think we will be seeing him on Saturday.

Should Wilf not be available; perhaps Max could feature.

The guy whowrote the article doesn't have a clue. Claims Andros is a natural winger "who loves crossing the ball" as opposed to Zaha who loves "cutting into goal". At best he's got them the wrong way around. Personally not sure if either of them are natural crossers of the ball and that has been part of Tekkers problem.

When did they play togethwr for Belgium? Belgium normally plays with just 1 center forward and that's usually Lukaku. Most bigvteams play with just 1 center forward because they're big, slow, don't draw back and don't defend much.

You want Palace, a mid-table, to field 2 big man center forwards?? I haven't seen that since the days of 25% possession Stoke who played Kenwayne Jones and Ricardo Fuller together. They played like s*it.

Yes, Batshuayi has some speed, I admit that, but not enough to play as second striker.

Roy actually likes a 4-4-2 historically.

He seems to have a major boner for Jordan Ayew though, so I have a sneaky feeling he will be one of a 2 up top for the time being, if we play 2 strikers.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Batshuayi might well start on the bench but hopefully coming on a lot earlier in the second half
