Next season I predict we will finish in the top ten easily, what do you folks think?

Because of VAR ?

"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017.

What’s that got to do with VAR?

I think the OP's point is that we will do better when players who kick Wilf and others off the park week in week out start getting exposed for the scummy thugs that they are.

All I can say is: it will make things that little bit harder for Liverpool. What a farce today. Goal + Origi's effort at the end.

And then Klopp afterwards whinging at the officials? Absolutely unreal!

Hate var. Slows the game. Taking a 2 minute break 3 times every half really gets the teams out of the momentum

I read somewhere (Cannot remember the source) that a study revealed that of 800 matches where VAR was used, the average time lost was 90 secs per match and this compares to 7 mins lost per match for throw-ins.

VAR is all fair and well until you realise that the person watching it and making the decision is a premier league referee and therefore likely to f*ck it up.

Isn't it a panel of 3 ?

3 referees? Can you imagine the hash three more will make of it aided by a telly when 4 in the ground can't tell their arse from their elbow?

You are thinking about a panel of 3 which reviews incidents pertaining to possible simulation.

Totally agree. They won't want to show up "one of their own"
