Are you that stubborn that you cannot see what a difference he makes when he plays. It is no surprise that we beat City and Spurs with Meyer in the starting line up. And why are we bringing in McCarthy when you don’t play Meyer?

Meyers a mixed bag. Tidy and good with keeping the ball, occasionally links up in tight triangles to bring others into play, good positionally. But hes weak, has no pace, no range of passing and cant shoot and cant tackle. First and foremost in the PL you need athleticism, unless you are exceptional or surrounded by exceptional talent. He doesnt quite do it for us im afraid, kayoute, jimmy mac and Luka easily ahead of him at the moment...and as poor as he i kinda get roy picking schlupp ahead of him for the reasons ive mentioned above. Needs a can of spinach or 2 before he'll be a regular in this team imo.

Weak yes but this can be improved and pace don't agree with he not playing Zaha role so he is fine if used in correct role none of the other three starters are any quicker. Disagree with can't shoot on his debut he had a shot from outside the box and he scored the other day. The guys new to the league it will take time and doesn't help when not being played then when get s chance it's for a very short period or Roy just drops him into place he has replaced some one else thats poor you use players strengths. Schlupp ahead of him that just sums up how wrong you are hes been putting that guy in center midfield he is winger/wing back and only thing he has over Max is pace.

Meyer won’t accept not being a regular starter at a club of this size and unless Roy goes in the summer, he surely will. You have to once again wonder what the f*** freedman and parish are doing signing players the manager doesn’t fancy.

I'm worried why Roy isn't giving Tekkers minutes to get match fit. Throw him on for 10 or 15 minutes but no, he just sits on the bench. Roy really doesn't like subs. Conceding late goals isn't helped by the fact he never puts on fresh legs.

Meyer is our best player, absolutely mustard. Struggled with the pace of the league in the beginning, but he's there now. I've slept on it and Hodgson is just a daft old c***, f*** him and his Plan A or nothing football, predictable line ups and bizarre substitutions. He had a stronger attack on the bench than on the pitch last night and he brought on Schlupp? And to think there's people on here foolish enough to argue he's one of England's greatest ever managers and had massive success, I'm sick of this nonsense. He's an old, mediocre manager on the wane big time. I've never said it before, but he's got to go. Start Ayew up front and try to defend a one goal lead Vs Southampton? PVA undroppable despite how bad he plays? Meyer on the bench ffs?! We are sleepwalking into relegation and even if we turn things around can realistically only catch 13th.
