What is everyones thoughts on the starting XI for tomorrow night away to southampton? I think this could be a tough one, we won last season after Luka's goal so hope we might be able to pinch it again. They've improved and still to lose this year in the league so we'll be out to put a dent in that at least. I'd like to see Wickham given the chance to start after I thought he was good against Spurs on Sunday. Meyer should be given a chance again. AWB Tomkins Sakho PvA Meyer Luka Kouyate Zaha Wickham Townsend

This should be without doubt the starting line up, Guaita might not be fit, but outfield, perfecto

I don't know whether Wickham will start as 2 games in 3 days might be considered too much after such a long lay-off. I would prefer to see him and Benteke share the games while they return to full match fitness as we look more balanced with them playing and Wilf/Andros out wide.

Ayew is going to start. Not a chance Wickham will start.

He loves Jimmy Mac so no doubt he will get a start. Meyer probably on the bench again and no way he starts Wickham, it will be Ayew.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

If Vicente is back then I think the only calls likely to me made are Meyer v McArthur (Roy will pick the latter) and Ayew v Wickham/Bentenke. I expect Roy to start Ayew for his energy, but if Bentenke is fit enough I wouldn't be surprised if he started. I would be incredibly surprised if Wickham started as he faded out of the game on Sunday and it would be improbable that he has the energy to start again. For what it's worth I would go with this if Tekkers is fit enough to start as he holds the ball up well and brings the best out of Wilf (imo) and can get on the end of crosses, as well as being good for both defending and attacking setpieces: AWB Tomkins Sakho PvA Kouyate Luka Andros Meyer Wilf Bentenke
