losing 5-0 at home to Wimbledon with their fans chanting 'team of the eighties' and 'we want six' - the nearest I have come to engaging in houliganism.

Being 4-0 down to Sunderland at half time when Damo had his visitor was pretty s***e!

Losing in the last minute of ET vs Leicester in the 96 play off final. It scarred me for years.

Got asked by my uncle to a Palace game. Always thought my uncle was quite cool and he was never particularly bothered for seeing me or my sister when we were kids, so at the age of around 19 I was quite keen to prove myself as a good Palace fan and maybe even get asked again to go to a game with him. Half concentrating on the game, I heard the crowd pick up the Andy Johnson song, so I joined in with as much energy as I could, stamping my feet and clapping my hands. After a short while I was conscious of a few people looking at me. It was the away fans singing a song about their player to the same tune and I was the one Palace fan joining in with the away team's song.

Never gone to football with my uncle since.

Enfield as the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th goals went in.

My only comfort? We signed Blazey soon after.

Definitely mine too, although I would extend it to the whole game, apart from the support.
That kit was awful, our kick 'em up in the air playing style on the day became extremely embarrassing and Wrighty still not risked from the start even after Saturday. Topped off by a miserable journey home.

The Charlton draw 05 season with their equaliser in the last ten minutes when a win would’ve kept us up. I didn’t talk to anybody for two days after

Even then it should have been ‘the great escape’ but we f’d it up in true Palace style with two successive home defeats against Hull and Fulham FFS.

I’ve already given my worst, so I can’t have another one, but that day when we beat Man City (wasn’t it?) and had to rely on Blackburn not beating Millwall for us to get into the play-offs. Of course, Millwall duly rolled over, much to their so-called fans’ glee.
