Starting shortly.

England going with two spinners and bowl as Rooty lost the toss.

Is he losing his grip - Boycott.

Hope Root's captaincy has improved - limited compared to Eoin Morgan.

Not sure about Sam Curran bowling instead of Broady. His batting may be better but surely Broad's bowling is superior to that of Curran and he does seem to be in form

2 spinners on a pitch like this is a waste, Broad should be playing instead of Rashid. Root is a capable back up spinner to Moen if required.

Since he got hit, Broad's batting is shot.

Yep...started out better than Dilley and is ending worse than Dilley did.

Rip Dilley by the way.

Varun Aaron ruined him. 1 or 2 bouncers or even the threat of it and he's a cat in the headlights. He used to hook and pull all over the place before that happened, albeit fortuitously rather than always with full intent.

Not a great start to this test so far. These opening 3 for the Windies have accumulated more runs than our opening 3 have in a test in recent memory.

Optimistic as ever

Pitch is presumably flat so England will have to try harder than usual to entertain us with the obligatory batting collapse.

That doesn't matter as we bat deep enough as it is and Broad should be in the team for his bowling alone

couple of quick wickets....after a good start for the WI....dare I suggest a collapse on a flat pitch????

Nice to see so many political adversaries here cheering on England
