Looking at the scenario of so many players going out on loan or moving on to other clubs on a permanent basis. This does lower the wage bill significantly, but also beg's the question of are we in financial trouble Through mismanagement?

We are now down to the bare bones of a squad, With no real money of any significance spent in the past couple of window, There must be a reason for the silence and lack of incoming players? And that has to be a concern for most of us? Views please?

Who, of the players let go or transferred, would get regular games or even be likely to get much game time from the bench?

With that in mind, are we better off playing youngsters instead of the ones let go who have been given a chance and who are not up to it?

Also, if we were in a financial bind which I think is extremely unlikely, why not sell someone who would bring in real money?

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Lack of ambition. Happy to just stay up each year. We will get caught out one year, like Stoke, West Brom, Sunderland or Villa. Happy to go back to the Championship - Saturday afternoon football, no tourist fans, academy players coming through, no s*** refs with big team bias and we will start playing football again instead of defending deep and hoping to nick one on the break. We have scored more goals at the Etihad and Anfield than we have at home all season. Looks like Parish agrees that we will be better off out of the Prem.

Will we miss any of the players released? Think not. Why can't we buy players like Bournemouth? Seem to be happy to buy from lower leagues and more often than not they turn out to be credible purchases. Where as we seem to panic buy late in the window. The club need to sort this out or I fear it will be our turn soon to do a Stoke or Sunderland.

The wage bill got out of control clearly, and FFP was constantly mentioned by SP.

Seems the transfer kitty post Sakho is very limited.

I think it is fair to say if you run up your wage bill too high, or spend so much on players you are hindered from making necessary transfers for the next few windows, then yes, this is mismanagement.

Regarding the silence and lack of incoming players, dont forget who you are dealing with here - Parish thinks he gets the best deals at 11pm on deadline day, and doesnt seem to learnt his lesson if this window is anything to go by.

You would think we might want to sign a keeper before Spurs, but you never know with this club. We get stories like "this player close to signing" and it routinely takes a week or more after that, that the player is actually announced.

I wouldn't say we're in financial trouble but due to mismanagement in our early days in the league we have/had a lot of players who didn't cut the mustard on high wages.

These players are slowly being moved on, for example Sako, Lee, Mutch etc. who were championship players on prem wages.

I would think with these players off the wage bill we should be in a better position in the summer to recruit a couple of players that reflect their wages.

I would also hope that the wages freed up would be used to tie down players like AWB on the contract that reflects his ability.

Surely this is more about giving opportunities to players who don't figure in Roy's plans.

Sako was actually becoming very liked, scored some beauties ...really really should have kept him.

Our club does not need to waste any more money, that is all it is, we are a mid table team ..people need to understand and get over it.

Up to last summer our scouting has been sh1t for years, that’s why. It’s still not too good on the cheap.

The one thing I hate about this league is early kick offs.

It's a gamble with a touch of luck and we are not good at it all the time, few are.
