Good luck to him, never had any major success out on loan so it isn't a huge surprise he's had to go abroad to play at a decent level in the pyramid.

I don't understand how, with a small squad, we can continue to let players go and bring none in

I have just totted up what players we have left and we have 22 which includes 4 keepers!! That means we need 3 more players just to name a 25 man squad. The Brazilian keeper will take that up to 23 so that means 2 players joining on the last day of the window. Talk about winging it.

Are we really that skint? Such a shame that Sullay has gone, had high hopes for him.

Whilst it is the law of the internet to be negative; i would have some faith. Look at the players who have left? There has been little grieving for any of them (less Joniesta perhaps but that's mostly sentimental). Gutting that Kai Kai hasn't made it but it is clear his time with us is up. We have made substantial savings to our wage bill which were required. Space now to bring in some real quality.

We are looking at 6 or 7 first team squad members having left this window. I really hope we are freeing up wages for Moses and a couple of others. We need some signings or pretty soon we won’t even be able to do 11vs11 drills on the training pitch. Regarding Kaikai he never really got a decent run of games at an important point in his development. He had ability, but not enough to play in the PL at any point in my opinion. I think he probably should have left 1 or 2 seasons ago. I hope he kicks on though.

In one of the more ridiculous and incredulous moments of the Parish reign, this was the reason given as to why we signed Erdal Rakip. Apparently we signed Erdal Rakip, spending hundreds of thousands if not millions, to make up the numbers in training. Re signings be careful what you wish for with Freedman and Parish. You could get Sorloth, Rakip and Jach mark 2. We need signings yes, but we need the right signings, and we need to consign p*ss poor panic buy sh**e signings to the history books.

I'm not happy about this. He was our best striker pre-season and every bit as good as Ayew. However, despite having no strikers, we still didn't use him. Anyone honestly going to say Sorloth is better? Wickham has looked like he will never get back to fitness and Ayew does not seem to be a striker, yet we get rid of Kaikai for nothing. If we had used him and it had or hadn't worked out - what would we have lost? Couldn't be any worse than what we have used.
