What sad news,I remember him with great affection.

Many, many moons ago I recall seeing him outside the old supporters bar which was situated opposite the old stand where the car park now resides.Went to a 'Gentleans evening' there once ! Windsor Davies in that booming voice of his said "You have got to support your local team" I think he was resident in Carshalton at that time. RIP.

I wonder, when he meets JC at the Pearly Gates, whether he will say 'shoulders back, chest out lovely boy'.

Let's hope so. Terrific actor responsible for a class of comedy genius that is timeless.

Loved him in ‘Terrahawks’. His voice, that is.

He certainly used to live in Pine Walk Carshalton Beeches. Very expensive road. I did the Sunday paperround back there in maybe 1977/78.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

Nonsense. Kids should be able to do, act, speak, sound, behave, smoke how they want. He’d probably end up being stabbed or face a line of complaining parents. If he never left the barracks he’d be fine.

I know what needs to happen to that line of complaining parents.
