It looks like cabaye has left his UAE club....... ,https://twitter.com/ALNasrSC/status/1084425177532981249 would it be worth a punt taking him on a 6 month deal

Nope Was offered a deal and refused in summer so to see him now out of country this soon just shows he is past it. I wouldn't be surprised if we did sign him that appears to be the Palace way

I’d certainly take him back. Was a mistake to not keep him. Kept the game ticking over and made us more fluent. I imagine he’ll end up somewhere in France though.

Was disappointed when he left, but he was imho coming to the end of his time in the premiership, now RLC on loan would be the real deal.

Another defensive midfielder is probably last on the list of requirements however romantic it would be to have him back. A goal scoring midfielder would be nice. Or any kind of scorer really

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Yohan Cabaye leaves Al Nasr' by Midlands Eagle Forgive if this has alreally been posted Sorry don’t know how to link page. On the homepage below it’s been reported that Yohan Cabaye has left Al Nasr and is now a free agent to sign for another club. Could we not temped him to come back with the view of being our next manager when Hodgson leaves,retires. I think he would fit the bill perfectly.
