Undoubted quality when fit, but too much of a risk on his wages....perhaps on a pay as you play basis only

It's almost like the bin dippers are Del boy from only fools and horses... And we are Trigger... They see us coming a mile off and we always seem to buy something off them!!

One of a few players - we recently transferred another - where hand on heart I'd worry about them picking up an injury during a goal celebration. Get lucky with the injury risk, and it's an absolute steal, but why take that risk?

I find it hard to believe that Liverpool will offer to extend his contract. Another fantastic player if he stays fit. Liverpool refused to accept a pay if he plays deal for Dominic Solanke and I can't see them accepting it for Sturridge. I imagine, and hope, this is the only offer Palace would give Liverpool.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Watching him in the game against Wolves tonight. He has done sod all so far, looks completely disinterested. I hope we steer well clear. Origi hasn't been much better, though has scored. Not sure he would be a solution either.
