As I mentioned a few days ago Puncheon will ultimately be a permanent deal as is out of contract in summer so Huddersfield basically are just taking over his remaining contract. Williams will leave to Charlton and Kirby is off to Blackpool however been told another league 1 Club have made a late bid to take him on loan. Sørloth will be going more likely to Gent trying to do a loan with permanent at end of season, need to agree fee and terms. In regards to Palace we are talking to Niasse again but we have other choices one being Batshuayi despite press saying we are not interested this will come down to how many players we can move on to free up wages. This is also the reason holding up the Moses potential deal as we are pretty much up to our limit on wages so hence we need to move players on. As I also said Solanke deal is not completely dead we may revisit this at end of window depending who we have got in. This was an unexpected collapse as Parish himself at the Chelsea game thought the deal was as good as done so please don’t shoot the messenger. If and when I get more I will post it,

How real is the Moses deal, and when can we expect some movement in to the club?

Thanks Dazza Kirby permanent if the new loan deal doesn’t come off, or also loan?

I said around several players will leave this window so far 2 have been confirmed: Williams Likely to go: Puncheon Getting rid of all these of the wage bill will free up the best part off 400k per week in wages allowing us to complete our deals. Cheers

Cheer dazza. At least we are being proactive in getting rid of some dead wood for possible new signings. Crucial we replace who goes with a 1 or 2 experienced additions as we have a small squad in terms of quality as it stands. Moses and any striker would be superb this window IMO.

We should be happy if the winter transfer business means we do get a center forward and an attacking midfielder. That's 2 players max. Souare I can see leaving to get more playing time because Hodgson doesn't seem to rely on him. But I doubt another left back comes in. This would mean that Schlupp will cover for 2 positions in the second part of the season: left midfielder AND left back. One of Wickham and Jordan Ayew will go, one will stay. I thought Hodgson prefers Wickham from the last games cause Ayew didn't even come in. But last night he started Ayew and he scored. I think he'll be the one to stay. Benteke and a new striker will make 3 options up front, which is enough (at least they will consider it enough). Zaha, Townsend, Meyer, Schlupp and another winger (Herrmann or Moses) will be the other 5 men up front. With the 3 strikers that makes 8 (4 starters and 4 covers). Luka, Kouyate and Macca will fight it for central midfielder, Riedewald as 4th option there. Basically like this: ...............Guaita..............

" Much" needed clearance of dead wood to be welcomed to reduce wages bill in readiness for new signings.

I would be gutted to see Kirby leave on a permanent. Surely we should be trying to ship him on to a Championship club though. It is good to see us moving people on. It feels like there is a plan.

Pretty flat comments on inbound transfers in Hodgson's presser. "More hope than expectation" or words to that effect.
