Colombian international striker at Rangers with 20 goals to his name this season. Have managed to watch a bit of him this during my time up in Scotland and think he's someone we should be considering going for right now. He's strong, skilful and good at finding the net, and IMO someone who will make the step up to premier league football sooner rather than later. IMO he's exactly the type of striker we need and would only cost a modest fee to bring him here. Considering they paid just around £1 million for him last season and aren't exactly in the best position to play financial hard ball I believe we could easily tempt them with offers around the £5 million mark. Been impressed with the boy and think it's only a matter of time before he makes the step up and comes down to England. What do we think?

I am duty bound to defer to Matteo on such matters. He’ll be along shortly (hopefully)

Talked about him before in a thread with 15 other strikers: He might be too young to score 15+ a season, but he'd surely be worth the investment. Steven Gerrard, manager there, says he isn't leaving until the next summer, but I'd imagine a 10 million bid would make a team like Rangers sell anyone! A little on the shorter side though, just like Maupay, would struggle a bit on high balls. But if the manager wants to try an approach with the ball on the ground...Morelos is your man. He's great for running and pressing. Edited by mattteo (28 Dec 2018 5.32pm)

Hasn't he been sent off 3 times already this season

We get a good striker, then lose a good striker, and my other team go marching on and on to a historic ten in a row! Hail hail, the celts are here!

He went down under every little challenge. Complained for most of the game. Looked like he was one nasty tackle away from a red card. Took an instant dislike to him.

I think someone who could cover or replace as left sided midfielder/left wing back like Moses is more likely to come in?

Not sure replacing Townsend or Wan-Bissaka is priority

This season, Morelos has picked up 13 yellows and 3 reds. In my book, that's a good thing. Colombians are usually fighters, that's why I was very suprised about what Skinii said above. Also, he has had so many yellow cards because he's been in 4 cmpetitions this year (Scottish Premier League, Scottish Cup, Europa League and 8 matches in the Europa League preliminaries), totaling more than 35 matches in 3 months. Many of his yellow cards for tackles would go unpunished in the English refereeing system (especially those from the European competitions).
