Have I really just seen Alan Shearer compliment Palace and rave about AWB on MOTD ?
I must have been dreaming......

Oh well back to reality ate this fantastic win and keep it going against Cardiff

Red and Blue though and through (more than 50 years)

Nothing to do with Shearer, but yesterday’s report on the BBC website referred to De Bruyne scoring a ‘consolation goal’. Naturally as a long-standing Palace supporter, I knew the win was safe for the last 5 minutes plus 6 minutes of added time. Errr....

He raved about AWB, and he has mentioned him a couple of times.
In the past. On yesterday’s performance he had Sane in his pocket and I have not seen anyone else’s do that before.

AWB is getting noticed, I said a month ago that “ AWB will be the best right back in Europe in 5 years time” I stand by that.

An no doubt overlooked for the England team if he’s still at the Palace.

You (possibly) have seen it done before and it was nearly a year to the day, at selhurst park. TFM - one of his best performances for us (otherwise he was indifferent)

AWB is outstanding. Once he gets more confident going forward and positionally he'll be comfortably world class.

Big contrast with Mick McCarthy on Goals on Sunday. He said that if Andros tried another hundred times, he wouldn't be able to score a goal like that again.
Miserable git. Never really liked him.

I preferred ‘Mock McCarthy’ before you edited it. I was going to treat it as a challenge, but admittedly not a particularly difficult one. He’s an @rsehole for that comment!

Tbf I think I’ve seen over a hundred of Andros’s 2nd half shots nearly go up the back of the Holmesdale and into the concourse.

OK, but I thought ‘pundits’ were there to provide some sort of insight; presumably based on their years of experience in the game, and not to make comments that any other tw@t could make.

Of course, Alexander-Arnold will be the choice...unless AWB joins Man U or Spurs
