Latest rumour is Roma are preparing a £25m bid for PVA. As good as he is I would find it hard to turn down this sort of offer given we could probably pick up a decent replacement for less than £10m and put the balance towards a different area of the pitch. In the worst case we have Schlupp reverting to Left back which probably is his best position. We would lose a bit going forward but gain defensively and possibly use the money to pick up a proper goal scorer.

Easy decision for me. It’s a yes.

Can’t see Roma paying 25 mil for the unpredictable fullback pva when they only got 9 mil more for Salah.
If it was a legit bid a sneaky phone call regarding Clyne, who’s twice the player in my opinion, would be in order.

At that price - yes, if it’s what he wants.

Clyne is a right back though.

25 million quid given our FFP issues and supposed lack of spending power. Absolutely.

PVA is a fine defender but watch him in the next games carefully in the final third.

Move after move breaks down once PVA misplaces a pass or flick, he has been very poor this year coming forward. He is not alone there of course.

No way we get 25 mil but maybe a 15 - 17.5 type figure, and at that amount I would still say yes.

We need to sell some players, and I would definitely take 15 mil plus for PVA and play Schlupp, with Souare or A N Other backing him up.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I would urge the great and good to be circumspect in relation to rumours. With the coming of the transfer windows there are a plethora of rumours covering vast number of players and an array of clubs where truth and fiction might in some circumstances be confused.Quite a few might be a pile of horse conkers.

i'd be tempted if they offer that kinda money. we have a decent left back who actually defends better in Schlupp. he's not that great going forward but then is PvA actually that good? He's patchy, very.

Cant see him being worth 25 million.

That said, he did score more goals than all our centre forwards put together last year so maybe.

Silly talk.

One of our few diamonds. We need to stay in the Premier League so why sell our best players? Folks are deluded if they really think we could replace him for £10m. He is one of the few who have shown any passion this season.
