A few years ago, yes. Now, no thanks. Goes over far too easily.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Heavens, you are being rather optimistic ! Supporters have been patiently waiting month after month, hoping and praying that he will start to score goals but alas prayers have gone unanswered and hopes dashed.I have not spoken to a single supporter who has any faith whatsoever in Benteke delivering the goods when he returns.Supporters have lost faith in him.

Supporters faith in a player is irrelevant. Nothing wrong with a bit of optimism. Benteke was a very good player, not sure what happened last season but there is no reason to not believe that he wont come good again.

Supporters who have clung to this belief are in my opinion fast diminishing in numbers. We have all been a tad befuddled by the fact that Benteke has gone from a 15 goal striker in his first season to a player who has been hugely disappointing and we live more in hope than expectancy that he will return to the form that saw him hit the net with some regularity.

Andy Carroll - nope. Only a matter of time before he is long term injured again. West Ham's Connor Wickham.
