Does it serve any useful purpose? I watch it most weeks whilst eating my lunch and my general feeling seems to be that it is pointless. Jeremy Corbyn is completely inflexible in his questions and seems unable to think on his feet Theresa May is a much more confident combatant but often doesn't answer the question but turns it back onto Corbyn The Speaker uses his increased television audience to practice his amateur dramatics but whilst amusing at first it wears on you after a time as he says the same thing all the time. Once the main protagonists have finished it's down to the back benchers most of which seem to be "plants" with questions congratulating the Government and if it were up to me I would ban any questions beginning with "Would the Prime Minister like to join me in congratulating........." In each half hour episode of this soap opera you may get one or two genuine questions about something that needs investigating but other than that as I started off by saying does PMQs serve any useful purpose?

It used to be twice a week - stop moaning and be grateful.

Corbyn puts May on the ropes every time then, in the final round, punches himself in the face.

It's a waste of time. Most questions are pre-submitted so the PM has an idea what's coming. The only opportunity for the Leader of the Opposition to land a blow is the follow up question. If you are a backbencher it is hard to get you question raised let alone answered. The only thing it does is show us is who has good debating skills. Corbyn is lousy but that doesn't mean you can't be Prime Minister it is your policies that matter.

Really, when you can't land a knock-out blow on the day after the government has been found in contempt of parliament, when can you? Charles I had his head chopped off , and he wasn't in contempt. He had the best answer to Parliament, but unfortunately lost his head...... No planning, typical brexiteer.

I watched it again today and for the second week running Jeremy Corbyn lost his temper and shouted at the Prime Minister which is something that I'd never seen him do before.
