It should be fun for the commentators and scorers in todays one day match between the England and pakistan A teams with the pakistan batters at numbers 7 and 8 both called Mohammad Irfan.

They are both spin bowlers and presumably it was just as confusing when they are bowling in tandem.

As if that wasn't bad enough there is a third Mohammad Irfan in the squad

Ah religion with its inherent collectivism.

I must admit I like the look of several players in the Lions squad.

Good to see Bess and Pope doing well.....Clarke not too shabby either.

Mark Wood is also doing well in bowler unfriendly conditions. It's a shame that Olly Stone didn't play as I would have liked to see him and Woody bowling together but instead of playing he just carried the drinks in Sri Lanka then went home

Australia v India: The greatest rivalry in world cricket?

The above is a headline on Cricinfo today. I'm guessing that whoever wrote the article doesn't know much about cricketing rivalries

Ditto, it would have been interesting.

There's a dilemma in one way because it's obvious that both Anderson and Broad are probably looking to retire after the Ashes.....But the Aussies will come with a battery of quicks while in truth.....perhaps Stone and Wood...with that youthful pace.... might be more effective in reply.

I don't know....just musing.

Even both those teams would disagree with it.

As for the Lions batting... 5 ducks and 2 scores of 1!

They handily renamed one of them as Khan on the scorecard, but there was also another Khan in the side too.
