Are we choosing what is a hate crime depending on what political persuasion you are?

Correct the verb to be offended:

- I am offended because your are Tory scum
- You have no right to be offended because you are Tory scum.
- We are offended because we are snowflakes
- They are offensive because they are Tory scum

On a serious note it is disgusting but I don't think it is criminal. However the establishment has moved swiftly to condemn it so I expect they will dig up some law that these idiots have broken.

In other news the family of Guido Fawkes are considering suing, well almost everybody.

Yesterday people up & down the country were burning effigies of a catholic man who was tortured horribly before his death.
The irony being completely lost on those who are outraged.

Yeah its bad taste but thats it, be offended & f*** off.
Its a terrible waste of tax payers money and police time to investigate this.

Burning a model of Grenfell is sick and tasteless and isn't illegal. They have, I believe, been arrested because they posted it on line and this could break the communication act and this is not a hate crime.

Grenfell has become a rallying point in the war of words between the Left and Right.

the Left are asking :
how was the health & safety issue ignored for so long ?
why was so little money spent on looking after Grenfell ?
why did theresa May make such a mess of the visit to the site ?
what will be the next building to burn, kill people etc due to financial cutbacks ?
was it all just a big conspiracy of penny-pinching ?

the right are asking :
how is there social housing with so many refugees & asylum seekers in one of the most expensive postcodes on the Planet ? expensive cladding ? overcrowding ? what was the contribution of economics to the disaster ?
could or would those residents pay for safe cladding themselves or was the State's penny-pinching letting the side down ?
how many people living in Grenfell were not even supposed to be in the country, nevermind that building ? would they all be alive today had the system been less derelict of its duty ?
had the tower been privatised would its safety have been better managed ?
who was managing the tower and did they have a clue about doing their job properly ?

both sides are angry and shouting 'b...stard Government'

what a mess. I disagree with burning effigies of anybody but now expect the perpetrators of this to be treated worse than murderers or rapists.

name some famous people who burned dolls of Guy Fawkes ? I bet the names of these Grenfell bonfire fellas will be famous very soon.

I suppose the lack of compassion of 72 lives lost doesn't surprise me, they just dislike immigrants. Haters will always hate

Remember:

1. Burn poppies - OK
2. Burn effigies of (this year) Boris Johnson*: OK
3. Rape young kids for decades: OK (until exposed to wider public)
4. Freely return from a beheading holiday in Syria
5. Tasteless Guy Fawkes effigy of the "wrong thing" (TM): summary execution.

I f***ing hate what this country is becoming. And I'll re-iterate I'm disgusted at 1,2,3,4 AND 5.

* Any threats or abuse towards the "wrong MPs" invokes the "saint Joe Cox" outrage klaxon

Plenty of English nationals died, they are overlooked in the rush to dance on the graves of coloureds.
