Cenk Tosun is probably second in the league of overpriced crap strikers in the PL, second to Sorloth.
Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978 |

I would suggest that he will be going nowhere soon. It's not in the clubs or the players interest. And certainly not for a player that has slated Palace at every opportunity, since he "rejected" us when we were interested.

He's shown he can play at this level and he's only going to get better. When he moves on it will be for big money and it will be to a better team than Everton I think.

Everton might just be the club that suits him best. It's big enough and he will get to play every week rather than just sitting on the bench with one of the top four

Such has been sensational form id argue he's too good for an Everton. I'm seeing a top 4 player in him. In terms of ability at that age, he outshines Wilf which is something I never thought I'd say. Is he better than Trent? I'd argue he's up there. To be fair Trippier, Trent, Valencia etc are not better or worse. But to be saying this after a kid hasn't even reached 20 games is nuts but completely accurate. Huge talent. Makes me wonder who else we have in the youth teams who could step up. Gone are the 'it's too risky to take a chance days'. We have to gamble a bit with these players. AWB was a case of the right place at right time. We need to give others a chance.

Like many of you I have over the years witnessed us develop some amazing players such as Sansom and Wright, only to sell them and then see the team fall apart. We need to keep our stars such as AWB and Zaha if we are to survive and ultimately push on. Love this lad, needs to work on his positioning at times but that will come with experience. See him in the England team within two years, we just need to make sure he's still then playing for Palace.

If we could just find ourselves a great homegrown goalscorer now..

I'm sure he'll do a Clyne and stay for this season and the next - after that it's hard to say, I did notice he seemed to be getting a bit affected by the spotlight, one two many tricks on occasion, but it would disrupt his progress rather than accelerate it if he went to Everton now, could end up being our best ever right back, only Clyne's ahead of the queue now probably, we've had some great left backs (Sansom, Deano, Fenwick) but the right backs haven't been at that level generally (Doris, Humphrey, Mulligan, Wall).

There would be a furore if we sold AWB, a local boy who has come through the academy and is showing such ability. He is a work-in-progress but he is a young boy learning his trade and he does have the pace to make recovery tackles. He is of course a player with huge potential. Besides, we would have to replace him with another right-back as in my humble opinion Ward is simply below the quality required to play as a regular in the PL.And one suspects many would question whether the club would come up with the right replacement given the criticism of the transfer activity.
