I have a lot of respect for Roy as we have seen from past managers they would of walked in this case he really hasn't been backed £££ wise.

I remember him even saying towards end of last season how club needs to move forward and not be fighting relegation zone yet we only spent 10m disgrace really.

Hopefully once the stadium is done SP will sell up to some one who will give funds but by that time I expect Roy would of left (way it's looking may not even have any work done on stadium or even remain in Prem if funds are not be fronted)

It’s the spending big on Benteke and Sakho plus the high wages were paying to many players that’s meant we’ve had to tighten the purse strings, not because Parish is a tight &rse.

Unless our revenue increased or we broke the rules, a richer new owner wouldn’t mean we could’ve spent more in the summer just gone.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Roy wanted to join the singing section but was rejected by the HF. Hence his demeanour at the press conference .

He is too old , and 60plus years of supporting palace counts for nothing

Joke isn't it and as i said before no wonder other managers walked.

People can use all the excuses they want about signing this player for 30m or that player well why is it that other teams appear to be able to go and keep spending and manage wage bills yet we have a big problem.

Poorly managed club and owners not willing to spend out of own pocket.

Every sympathy for Roy. No decent effective strikers - Plus Cabaye has gone.

Other clubs of our size don’t spend £30 mil on a CB or £30 mil on a striker who has 1 good season and then can’t score from two yards. We’ve limited ourselves by these and the wages on almost the whole squad. We’re near the limit of FFP and nobody’s riches can change those facts unless they come in and bend the rules by sponsoring the club as well.
