Good luck proving all that income was legitimate.

If they don't, do they then get charged with anything and who gets the assets?

b. The state

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Good.

Let's make sure it goes through after we leave the EU then, as we know they love to tax us on the black economy.

I wondered if the Azerbaijani banks etc would have a claim to it once it's been seized.

The state getting sniffy about 'unexplained wealth' of foreigners in London or indeed the wealthy generally is nothing short of hilarious.

The myopic nature of the state never ceases to amuse.

Exactly, London is widely known as the money laundering capital of the world

Seems like they've picked on an easy target, they wouldn't dare go after any Russian Oligarchs

Surely picking the easy targets to begin with is a good idea?

There are apparently 9 more UWOs waiting to be launched off the back of this one being successful.

They should go after the British first but that's equally wishful thinking.

I can't say I feel sorry for this lady at all, however she was actually kidnapped - maybe in 2004 - can't quite remember.

She was living in the same apartment block as me and we knew she had been kidnapped, but the morning she was released was clear because where we lived was full of soldiers with machine guns.

The official story turned out to be that the the number two in the Police section responsible for investigating kidnapping, along with his department, were in fact responsible for the kidnapping itself.

Never a dull moment here....

Are there any British suspects here? I'd have thought that anyone subject to a UWO would be more likely to be of E European extraction of 'recent' wealth. Any Brit (Barclay brothers etc) would very wisely be non-doms.
