Goals will soon start flowing, says Hodgson in the programme notes for the Wolves game.

Well, they do for Murray, whom we got for free - and then rejected.

To think goals will start flowing from Benteke or Sørloth, bought for a combined 40 million, you need to be seriously drunk.

Zaha will score the occasional wonder goal, but that is it.

Partly true, my friend, but our defensive is not that bad, and Wayne has been superb so far.

But without any striker of Premier League quality, and a complete absence of attacking ideas, I see us scoring a record low number of goals.

Does anyone believe that Benteke, Sorloth or Ayew will match - or even be close to - this - even in a full season?

The goals certainly can’t ebb any more. Not the home ones at any rate.

Agree that many were disappointed at the decision to move Murray on for what was thought to be good money at the time,£4m fee and replaced by a much younger striker,Connor Wickham.Probably, all Pardew's planning.
Now hindsight is a wonderful thing and I for one wish we had never sold this proven goal scorer and it would not surprise me if he scores more goals this season on his own than our strikers combined,(Benteke,Wickham,Sorloth and Ayew)purchased for in excess of well over £50m.

Good business eh,Steve?????

Remember the time when Murray was banging them in for us and we all laughed at all the Br*ghton fans still going on and on about losing him?

Erm...

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
