4 - 5 games without Wilf = zero points. Fact. 4 games against top 6 opposition = zero points. Most probably. How would we react to such situation, a very likely one, come December ?

I usually stop reading when people describe their predictions of the future as "fact". You don't know how many games Wilf will miss with this injury and you also don't know what's going to happen in them.

Physio room saying return date 15th Sept - with slight doubt so don't know where your getting 4-5 games from..!! Beyond that we ain't a one man team. We're 4 games into the season - 3 points better off than last year at this time and with a much better squad in terms of depth and quality and a much better manager - stop wetting yourself..!! Would you rather be in our position or West Ham's? Get a grip..!! COYP

Exactly. He pulled up in training and was touch and go for the following day's match, then failing a late fitness test. Oh, and actually we nearly got a 1 - 1 draw out of that despite being absolutely s***e for 75 minutes.

Play wilf and Andros up front again. Drop the striker and use that extra midfield position for Meyer as the number 10. Then watch the magic happen

I think Roy will use this break to introduce Meyer, kouyate and ayew for our next game. My feeling is that he was giving the players who kept us up last year these first four games to show they deserved to keep their places.

I think we have only had 1 bad result, that was the last one against Southampton. Despite the rubbish vs Southampton, horrible point blank headers by Benteke & Ward stopped us getting a point there too. Talk of a 7th place finish is looking pretty silly though. Parrot

We haven't played anywhere near as well as we did at times last season, but I think the introduction of the new boys will see our fortunes change. Individuals are playing well (Hennessey, AWB, McArthur) but we're not quite gelling as a team, for whatever reason that may be. Also, we continue to create lots of chances, we just need one of our strikers to start taking them and we'll be flying I also think it would be really good for team morale if we could beat Thuggersfield without Wilf, as the one-man-team mantra must be quite galling.
