Not sure if the other thread will get looked at anymore being so old but merge if you feel you need to.

So this was a random £5 free bet from ladbrokes and I didn't think it would get this far.

I need advice on how best to cover this please? I'd like to know a way to make as much as possible incase any of these two let me down.

I don't use Ladbrokes much and have no funds to deposit. I don't usually bet with loads.

I've won a few inplays and the skybet special today so have £102.50 available on my skybet account right now.

Any help would be massively appreciated. I'm not a massive gambler and usually just do little bets mainly.

I’d probably let the Liverpool one ride out at least.

You shouldn’t have added the final leg/match or the last 2 in if you’re wanting to cash out, which they haven’t given you the opportunity to anyway. Cashing out costs you about 20% of what the profit would’ve been if the net finished there as a winner. They might advertise it as good for the punter but trust me it’s profitable for the bookie, especially over the longer term.

You could lay a large amount on Man City to win on an exchange like Betfair exchange or Smarkets so whatever the out comebof the match your profit is roughly the same, that’s as long as Liverpool win the match before. But you’re going to need about half of the overall expected returns of the bookie bet in your exchange account to be able to do this. Do you have an account and funds to deposit?

You can actually lay legs of accas off one by one using a formula but it’s too much to learn right away and I’d be highly surprised if Liverpool don’t win.

Ah you’re Miles off the original thread?

Betfair exchange charge 5% on profit and Smarkets charge 2%. Matchbook only charge about 1% but it gets changed about whether you win or not.

With only £100 spare to use on the Man City match you can only guarantee £100 I’m afraid. Man City win will be nearly 1.9 to lay and if you back double chance it’s the same but better than that would be £50 on Arsenal and £50 on the draw, both about 3/1 so you might win £150 on one but lose £50 on the other.

You need to borrow half of that big return for a few days! Or ride it out. I think you’ll do it but football bets can screw up easily so bookies love em.

Yeah miles18. Red carded myself, personal stuff but I'm alright now so came back.

What's betfair exchange? I have no idea about any of that stuff.

I have £103 on skybet account and probably no more than £100/150 I could borrow to deposit so not much at all.

This was a free bet and I just picked teams with good odds like Palace at 2/1. I don't use Ladbrokes so wasn't expecting it to win or get this far.

Now it has tho I'm just trying to make some guarenteed profit wether this wins or not.

Thanks for responding. I may aswell just borrow what I can and stick it all on Arsenal double chance? Is that the easiest thing to do. I'm not that clued up on betting. Just want some money either way.

Betfair exchange or any betting exchange is where it’s punters v punters. It’s all in decimals so 2/1 will be 3.0 and 6/4 is 2.5 and 4/6 is 1.66. Anyway, the back side will be a few 0.01’s more than a bookie depending on the bookie. The back side is where you back or bet on an outcome and the lay side is where you bet against an outcome, acting as a bookie vs the punter taking you on. It’s all anonymous like stock markets so you don’t know you’re competing against.

With your limited funds I’d ride out the Liverpool match and then split your funds roughly in half and bet on Arsenal and the draw. If you have about £250 then that’s roughly how much you’re guaranteed minimum. Or your Acca wins.

Ok, I'll split it then.

Thanks for the advice.

Obviously only after Liverpool have won.

And in future don’t add matches or legs at end of accas if the profit is already so high you want it banked. Just advice!

Couldn't grab anymore money so left it until half time in the end.

Arsenal looked s*** so stuck £100 on the draw just incase at 4/1. Happy days.
