ok Eagles.

everybody knows which teams will be in the top 6 at the end of the season. Almost getting boring seeing the same names everytime.

I hate to sound like a party pooper, but Palace will not be winning the Prem this year.

Likewise, we all have an opinion on who will be down in the relegation dogfight : Cardiff and Southampton for sure, probably Watford also ( 2nd september...yeah watford, right ) , and hopefully the MMA team that goes by the name of Huddersfield.

title race : amazing
qualification for Europe : nail biting
relegation struggle : terrifying

mid-table mediocrity : can be a damp squib by Late February.

So, which teams will finish the season from 7th to 10th in the table ?

My reasons for asking : i plan to put a fiver on at Paddy Powers in order to make the boring part of the Prem a little more interesting.

My predictions :

7th Everton
8th Burnley
9th West Ham
10th Palace ( if Wilfried stays fit all season )

your predictions please :

7th
8th
9th
10th

If Burnley get in the Europa league proper I can see them struggling to stay top half.

They've already got games tonight and next Thursday, both followed by early Sunday kick offs.

Everton
Palace
Leicester
Wham

Optimistic as ever

On the 'Balance of probabilities' we will survive once more in the PL but knowing our club it could be a roller coaster ride with supporters nerves frayed akin to an ancient tow rope.

I just hope that for all our sakes we are not put through the same experience as last season and that we can feel somewhat comfortable throughout the season.I believe the mood music has the direction of travel in an upward trajectory and let us hope that the confidence is NOT mis-placed.

From a personal perspective at this juncture I would be content with a mid-table finish but as the season unfolds maybe such a placement might be a disappointment.Pray God we survive - I believe that we will.

Capable of 8th.

Probably finish 9th - 12th.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Bar Eagle

Very kind of you - thank you very much.

I am looking forward to the season with a degree of positivity !

I don't think it would be a surprise if we finished mid-table or even slightly higher.
