Are any other Palace getting fed up with media conspiracy and how they are trying to undermine Palace. In particular the Daily Mirror and Talksport. The latter comes as no surprise. But the Mirror every transfer window looks to spread false rumours. They have spent the whole summer coming up with false claims for Townsend, Luka, Roy and all have been rubbish. But their relentless attempts to suggest Wilf is on the verge of leaving, putting in a transfer request to openly saying he wants to engineer a move to Spurs, Everton, Dortmund and now Chelsea is just ridiculous. Lets start rubbishing them back. Who is the sports editor and is he a Brighton, Charlton or Chelsea fan. Whoever he is he is pathetic. Rant over. So excited for the new season great signings too.

Unfortunatly, This is just the Media doing what they do, Zaha is a big story this summer and Townsend a big name. If they think it will get clicks/sell Papers they will print it.

It's nothing against us specifically, - and in a twisted kind of way its a compliment as it means they think we are of interest, and the likes of Brighton, watford, huddersfield etc aren't.

I despise the Tabloid media, they will print anything and then will not be held accountable as they are just reporting what they've been told, Hiding behind the Freedom of the press. they do this regardless of how credible/made up that story is, often with little or no actual journalism. They sensationalise headlines which often have little or no relevance to the article they write. Because of this, they are regularly used by Agents to engineer a move/better contract for their players, and the Media lap it up.

Something should be done about it, trouble is, I'm not sure there is anything we can do.
A good start would be to boycott the main protagonists aka "The Sun"

Brighton would do almost anything to be considered interesting, but I can't see it happening anytime soon

The funny thing is sky aren’t touting this move cr@p and they’re the only media company with a bookies, which is usual mug punter profit. Sunbets folded recently and returned all funds to customers. Someone may buy them and relaunch.
