Please indulge me...Oxford away is the only chance I'll ever have of starting such a thread.

Yeah I enjoyed that in the end. Palace were a bit sleepy/sloppy at times in the first half, but it all came good in the end.

Great to hear the Palace faithful in good voice, but makes me sad that I can't get to Selhurst much these days

Any thought of selling Andros is madness. He is different class.

Sorloth has a way to go before he impresses. Apart form one good bit of 'shepherding' on the right in the 2nd half, he seemed to be off the pace. I think he lost everything in the air, and of course missed a sitter.

Was it me - or maybe my angle of view - but did Guita keep putting the full-backs (particularly W-B and then Ward) under pressure with his roll-outs?

Sorloth looked way way way off the pace. Let's hope Wickham stays fit to back up benteke. Keeper looked good to me. Far better than Wayne.

I know it was only ten minutes but thought both Williams and punch looked very good.

Fair comment, Tom. So did I. Ward looked maybe a little short of match practice, but he'll be fine.

I also thought Williams looked good for the short time he was on. Would love to see him finally come through but you can’t help but wonder if it’s too late now

I thought Wickham was still injured. He didn't play today did he?

Agree about Sorloth. Our striking options don't look good, especially considering how much money we've invested up top.

If he persists with it to that extent in the Premiership it may cause us a few jitters.
The pace of closing down will be x10 it was today.

Why hasn't Williams impressed anywhere else? If he wasn't one of our own, he'd be long gone. There must be something about him that he just hasn't shown that others can see... i hope something clicks and it all works out.

OPs views on Kaikai?

I’d agree the Williams comments, he looked good for the short period he was on. Would be interested to see him get some more pre season minutes. Always open for him to change my opinion on him that he’s not Prem qualitity.
