If the rumours are to be true that Andros is going to Newcastle for £18 mil then who do you think we would replace him with? I think it’s not bad business selling him back to them for £5 mil profit but no one can deny he is a hard working player for the team and to replace him with someone else who will give as much effort as him could be hard. Who could we look at as a replacement or who do you think we may be getting funds together for a more expensive player?

I can't see us selling him for £18 million.

2 reasons .

Firstly we have no cover for wingers Sako gone Kaikai not good enough, U23 wingers not ready and Wilf ( is he a winger or striker). We already needed cover (possibly 2) selling him means we need another one.

Secondly fee is too small he is currently intergral to side so if he goes it will be for in excess of £25 million giving us enough for a replacement plus a bit towards someone else.

Swap deals? Newcastle have at least 2 players who may interest us - Ritchie and Mitrovic. Ritchie plus £10 million? or both with us paying a fee of about £5 million?

In my view it will have to be an offer we can't turn down.

Well if this is true and it would be true to form, it looks like here we go again! Sell off before we have a replacement and probably leave it all to the last minute.
Chris of ex Holmesdale radio look forward to seeing you at Toulouse!

Totally agree,it has all the makings of a typical Parish last minute no show window amid lost opportunity, chaos ,excuses and confusion.
You would have thought that by now, he would have learnt his lesson.
Perhaps he rather likes the excitement of living near the edge of relegation year after year.
Don't sell Steve until you buy in today's crazy ,loads of money market.

You seem quick to be critical of Parish on the strength of a rumour. Nobody has been sold, not much overall activity in the transfer market due to the world cup for all clubs.
Looks like next week, his 2 key signings will be made with new contracts for Roy and Wilf.

Could it be possible that we'd be willing to move him for a little less than he's maybe worth in order to clear some wages and come up with a bit of cash to make a RLC deal viable? Even a loan with an option to buy next summer I think would be good for us, and there have been reports that, after our massive surge in wages in the past couple summers, we'll have to sell in order to buy. Would rather see Benteke moved to clear those wages, but that's dependent on us finding a buyer who can convince him to come...

Why? Both are already under contract and in Wilf's case, quite a long one

As you're obviously in the know would you mind telling us who we will be signing.
