If Benteke, Wickham, Sako and Sorloth were all fully fit and available as In my opinion they are all similar what pecking order?

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Can't believe I'm saying this but based on what I saw last season, and assuming it's to partner wilf up top, Sako would my first choice in terms of link up play. He's great with the ball and built like a tank.

You could see when he was confident he was unplayable at times. Remains to be seen if he could consistently get goals up top but him and wilf would be such a handful and certainly something I would try in pre season if I was in charge. Possibly with Schlupp and townsend on the wing in a 442

Is that official? Didn't think there was any news on him, Ward or Cabaye yet?

Well if all fit and in form I wouldn't be looking past Benteke and Wickham
However …….Benteke had a poor season and Wickham missed it so 'form and fitness ' would have to be proven . From what Ive seen Id be giving Soloth a run which will tell us if we have a striker at the club or frankly if we have to get rid of the lot of them .

Sako's upturn in form coincided with his contract running out this summer. He was excellent but armed with a new deal we could see the old Sako again

Yes if there was ever a player suited to 'play and pay' I think he fits the bill exactly!

I thought with this thread title this would be about how Steve is going to get in a new body up front.

I believe you can get a catalogue and fill out the form at the back, mail this in and you will receive your new striker within 6 - 8 weeks.

That might explain Kevin Doyle, Patrick Bamford, Yaya Sanogo, Adebayor, and a few others.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Ward confirmed contract yesterday, Cabaye confirmed at some middle Eastern club. Sako silence so would guess he's gone.

I’d start Wickham alongside Wilf.

Yeah; a catalogue of errors.

Luckily(?) most on loan. Tammy Abraham might join the list
