I gotta be honest, I know I’ll get ruined for this. But I can’t stand him.

The way he talks to certain fans publicly on a platform like Twitter. For all the other hounds to get their teeth out is a joke.

It’s almost as if he doesn’t understand the basic concept that without the fans the club doesn’t exist. Regardless of how much dosh he might’ve made shafting people in the advertising business, it does not make him some sort of footballing intellect.

He needs to stop this type of s*** and rise above it. It’s embarrassing.

Personally I have always thought that his media presence was too high and too selective but on this occasion it was only one fan who he had a dig at for calling him an attention seeker when all he had done was answer someone else's rather silly tweet about Alan Pardew

That's a pitfall of Twitter. Ignore that guy and he can keep digging you out to a reasonably large following, with loads of retweets/people agreeing etc. Respond and you may just make your critic even stronger.

Not digging you out OP, it is a valid opinion, but I don’t share it.

I agree.

To allow someone to keep digging you out (albeit whether a single comment counts as that is debateable) without response may encourage any attack to escalate. But it's how you respond on Twitter that matters; answer the point politely and succinctly and don't let it get personal. Once you start trading insults you've dragged yourself down a level and others will wade in to see if they can goad you a bit more.
