Chelsea await then Maybe. I'd have thought it's more likely to put a spanner in them getting the Napoli or Juve manager.

Smart move and a smart thinking knowing when to walk away. They would have sacked him if he didn't bring from the CL trophy, and they'd have sacked him if he didn't improve in the league next season. With Ronaldo having reached his peak and about to descend it, it's the right time to go and let someone else rebuild the team with a view to a post-Ronaldo Real Madrid. ZZ can walk into any job in world football.

"Prediction: going to take the France job after Deschamps stinks it up at the WC this summer. Will inherit a talented squad heading into their prime. Desire to lead France to WC glory AGAIN but as a manager. Then can take on any club he desires for a big salary (and maybe a big "challenge" and an undeniable reputation." stolen comment from daily mail, not a bad plan at all.

He has done very well managing a room full of egos, allowing them the freedom to run their own game plan. But he may struggle with a squad of lesser ability that needs more tactical nous.
