Just two types of player in that list:

(i) The forward who doesn't know how to tackle properly, gets penalised a lot for pushes in the penalty area at corners etc, such as Benteke, Barnes and Murray.

(ii) The defensive midfielder such as Luka. Always doing the unglamorous but vital job of protecting the back four. Rarely flashy but crucially important to any team.

I expect that referees will also read that article so expect a few red cards for our captain next season now that they have all been made aware of the player in the league

Less than 2 fouls per games for a defensive midfielder, doesn’t sound that many to me.

If the labelling of Zaha as a supposed 'diver' is anything to go by, it's certainly the former.
