Overlapping Football/Palace talk this really.

Interesting that our Wilf gets one vote from these 'pundits'. To be fair to Matt Le Tis he's the only one who doesnt exhibit a big club bias, nice to see our own finally getting the recognition they deserve. But if it was you, who would your breakout start be this season?

For me either Wilf, Doucoure at Watford, or even Sterling

I'd agree with Wilf, Sterling and Robertson (who has really stepped up to the mark although to be fair he looked good at Hull). If Alexander-Arnold is to be included then I would have thought that RLC would make the cut as well. He's been great for us and made the full England squad (where he performed well). I also think that Nick Pope at Burnley has had a great season.

Alexander-Arnold is a ridiculous suggestion
Zaha and Rashford both roasted him a few weeks ago and is croassing was very poor against Stoke

Please don't mention Sterling in same bracket as WZ. OK, he scores a lot of goals, but who wouldn't in that team? Follow him during a match and you will see for yourself how "pussylike" he is. One of the England "stars" - don't look too good for the World Cup, then!

The article talks about most improved. Alex-Arnold and Robertson hardly played last year so should be out of running. If they want a full-back, Trippier is probably a better bet. Along with Cresswell there is hardly a better crosser on the run- though both have defensive deficiencies

As far as Sterling goes, he has vastly improved and now knows where to find space to finish off moves. Half of his 18 league goals have been tap-ins in the 6 yard box. Of course with England it is likely to be a different matter

Can we make pact to shut up about wilf until the transfer window is shut. In fact I'll go better than that I saw him in sainsbury car park and he looked a bit pudgy and was walking with a stoop.

Are you sure that wasn't David Nugent?

Sterling’s been fecking amazing this year. If 18 goals and 11 assists in 28 starts isn’t getting you going, I have no idea what will.

Your point about ‘anyone could score in that team’ is so far wrong. The first challenge is to hold down a place in City’s team, which he has done, and then he’s excelled.

Maybe we should sack Kane off too? I conclude you won’t enjoy the World Cup very much.

Thai eagle went ott a bit, but he is overrated.

IMO wilf would do even better in that team than him. Hopefully we’ll never find out

Shame they aren’t both playing for England this summer.
