the last breath of the relegation dogfight. Glad all over we can watch from a lofty distance and enjoy the match without suffering any more medical risks.
and so Eagles, your preferences ? for me, send Southampton down, big club, always a risk to face them next season. Also Mark Hughes is a bad sport, a referee bully, a scumbag. I hope its a controversial referee decision that buries him. thoughts ?

Whoever loses this is in serious bother. We don't know if Citeh will turn up next Sunday or be on the beach, but it seems pretty likely that Stoke will be absolute s***e - they're all falling over themselves to blame each other for getting relegated and are more interested in not carrying the can than in playing together for any kind of pride. If Southampton lose I'd say they were goosed, but if Swansea lose they can't catch Southampton because of goal difference so beating that shower of s***e will only help them if Huddersfield don't get another point against two top six teams who will be bringing deck chairs, flip flops, sun cream and some change for the ice cream kiosk. Of course if it's a draw then next Sunday will be all the fun of the fair. Especially if the cloggers also lose to - who've they got, isn't it the bin dippers? in the final game , its Southampton vs Man City Swansea vs Stoke. so we know Southampton will face a top quality team with questionable motivations, Swansea will face a relegated prem team who will only be fighting for pride and individual players trying to look good for the transfer market. Based on this, Southampton cannot sit back and take a draw... they must win. Edited by PalazioVecchio (07 May 2018 12.57pm)

Edited by PalazioVecchio (07 May 2018 11.31am) Based on their various news articles and tweets since Saturday I'll be pretty surprised if Stoke show the slightest glimmer of pride - they've ben trying to park the bus all season and now they're trying to throw one another under it.

the teams playing tuesday. Each Playing for a win or a draw ? i reckon both playing for a win. Swansea getting a draw isnt the end of the world for them. They could beat Stoke and then stay up. But Southampton have a superior goal difference which may affect things if its a draw on tuesday and whatever happens thereafter. Edited by PalazioVecchio (07 May 2018 12.59pm)

I thought he was a f***ing bellend after that match yesterday. Had nothing to say about his team or the game and only interested in blaming the ref. He had a point, but he could have dealt with that in one sentence and then talked about football instead.

I watched Everton v Southampton and brought back memories when we played Southampton in 2005 and Higginbotham got a late equaliser we drew the last 2 games after that. I was not impressed with how poor man city were against Huddersfield they were too relaxed in there play when Huddersfield were right up for it, they were like Barcelona against Swansea, with Huddersfield only being 30 miles from Manchester did they throw them a life line? I can't see Swansea or Southampton winning there game on Tuesday I think it's going to be a draw.
