Last season we started with Maidstone on 15 July and then the Asia PL Trophy started on 19 July. This season the WC ends on 15 July. While it's unlikely any Palace players will be involved in the final, I guess that we may well not have our first game so early this time round and we may not have such a far-flung tour. Assuming we play a game or two abroad where would people like to go? Has anyone heard any rumours of pre-season games? Personally I'd be keen to go to a big(ish) European team. I'd love to visit Dortmund's stadium. Seville, Lisbon and Marseille would also be nice. Up at Celtic Park would also be good.

What we need is for Benteke to smash in 6 goals a game so a tour of two bob European league -- like Coppell used to do -- would be great. I'd like the club to ignore anything except what will help us to win games next season.

North East USA would be wonderful. Just a short hop across the pond (compared with Asia or Oz for example), lots of footy fans hereabouts, and an opportunity for the squad to get some wins under their belts before the start of the new season.
