"Their squad is far too good to go down" Actually sick of hearing this now, no one has any god given right but I genuinely belive there's not much on paper between us and Everton as having the best team on paper outside the top 6. Hosgson has done an amazing job and with a settled squad going into next season I genuinely belive the club's expectations should be higher next season and the players should have a bit of pressure on them and as fans we're entitled to expect more. Not being unrealist obviously if zaha goes then we would see where we are at the end of the summer but keep our key players and strengthen in the summer and I'd be fed up with amother relegation fight.

well, If we'd not given the league A 7 game head start, and applied our average point game since that game to that pointless period, we'd have 9 more points, and be at least in 9th. So not too far off where we are now. Our First team on paper is good, but our squad is not. Edited by CrazyBadger (30 Apr 2018 11.19am)

What about what I've just heard on TalkSh!te? "I get fed up with referees who won't give Raheem Sterling a penalty just because he's Raheem Sterling." Durham again. Bellend. s/Raheem Sterling/Wilfried Zaha/g

I passionately don't want to hear about what people don't want to hear about next season.

I don't think of Sterling as particularly a diver either, but it't funny how he runs to the defence of the one and can't wait to condemn the other in exactly similar circumstances. That the refs are s*** is of course axiomatic; and in fact the comment cane about because of a spam fan who entertained everyone by claiming that their feeble capitulation was entirely the ref's fault, and that it was a stonewall dive which, as you say, it clearly was not.

What I don't want to hear, is people moaning about our squad, not being a top 6 side, Parish, transfer window and not enjoying a relegation fight as the reality is we are never going to win the league or anywhere near. Enjoy being in the Premier, the best league in the world and competing against the best. What has happened to Sunderland, Villa, Leeds, Wigan, West Brom, Stoke etc could easily happen to us.

Nippy winger = diver obviously. Not quite sure how that works with Deli Alli though. I do think Wilf does himself no favours though by complaining vigorously at every touch. Unfortunately he now has this reputation and it will be difficult to shift.
