Mitrovic (suggestion) signed for Fulham (LOCKED)

If Benteke goes I'd love Mitrovic here. Going great with Fulham and Serbia. There's just something about him that I feel would make him a great fit at palace. He's great mates with Luka too.

Has been suggested a few times on here in the past. Think his temperament goes against him and I have a feelong he is one of those players who looks very good at Championship kevel but cant make the step up to Prem level. Jordan Rhodes for example.

There are no players who are great at Championship level and can't make it in the Premier League. "Great" means that you're ready to take the next step and you can at least be decent in the next tier. Jordan Rhodes is not "great" at Championship level. As for Mitrovic, though I didn't rate him that much previously, he has had a very good run with Fulham. They're fighting it off with Cardiff for the spot which allows automatic qualification to the PL. Usually, teams which do unlock the PL money, keep the players who have integrated successfully. I asume they'll reach an agreement to keep Mitrovic for next season if they go up. If they don't, then Mitrovic would be a good option for Palace. Edited by mattteo (22 Apr 2018 5.54pm)

I find it very amusing you keep quoting 'Great' shoot down a 'Great' appraisal of a Championship when 'Great' was never mentioned.

Roy gone public in his praise for Mitrovic today. I wouldn't be surprised if we make a move for him. He's very good mates with Luka. I'd love him here simply because he's nuts. I've said before, I think he'd be a great fit for us.

Ive said for a while that he'd be a great buy........obviously it helps with Luka being here but the Serbs have a great mentality....think he'd do very well !

Agreed but Rafa Benitez said he would not loan him to a relegation rival , I believe there was a deal for him to return to Anderlecht and the plug was pulled when he was literally on the plane to belgium , then there was a scramble to place him somewhere , step up Fulham and the rest is history

What an absolutely quality signing this guy would be. I love his attitude and passion. He has a discipline issue sometimes, but looks to have ironed that out. Being such good mates with Luka off the pitch can only help and I for one would love to see them reunited for club again. They both played at Anderlecht and I believe I saw an interview with Luka when he first arrived about how Mitro was helping him settle and supporting him. Feel we need a firecracker in the team to worry defences, think it would be great for Benteke as well.
