With Tekkers possibly injured for Bournemouth we may be once again back to no fit strikers. Time for the u23's to step up or makeshift strikers in Wilf and Andros again?

Yeah I'd do something like that with RLC just behind them in the cam role to help hold the ball up with his height and strength.

This is where Roy will earn his wages. I imagine he'll go for the Wilf and Andros duo but the midfield will be interesting. Perhaps a diamond when attacking with RLC behind the strikers, maybe pushing up when they spilt into the space centrally and Cabaye and Macca behind him doing the box to box stuff with Luka holding? If we go for the flat 4-4-2 it'd mean Macca on the right (Wilf and RLC on the left works well) and that's not ideal tbh, he is no wide midfielder

My view on this is that it could be a blessing in disguise.Different set up and mentality with no Benteke and opposition won’t know what to expect for some reason I am more confident

My worry is that Andros has not exactly been prolific this season has he. His shooting boots are obviously off at the menders as well as Tekker's. Edited by Direwolf (05 Apr 2018 4.09pm)

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this Benteke injury thingummy is a diversionary tactic to lull Bournemouth into a false sense of something or other.

FFS. How does he injure his groin if he never moves about? Don't answer that.
