After the international break it sees us home to Liverpool. Like may, I will be full of optimism for this game, however in reality, Liverpool males Watford yesterday and it will be difficult to get anything from it. On the plus side, it’s impossible to fall back into the relegation zone (unless there is an 11 goal swing with stokes match against arsenal and ours!)after this match as West Ham are at home to Southampton. I really don’t know what I want from this game. A draw keeps them both in the mix but one of them winning will leave the other in serious trouble. West Ham’s game in hand is against Man Utd so let’s hope utd turn up!! Our 6 remaining games are all very winnable. I think we will be just fine now

All the relagation candidates will be looking to get as near as 40 points as possible. On that basis 3 wins should mean safety .On paper our fixtures makes that quite achievable, but looking as others ie Stoke, West Ham etc not so easy but think we will be safe by last game .

West Brom are goosed.
Stoke are probably goosed.
Whoever loses the match between Wet Spam and Saints is properly in the s***.

Swansea and Toon aren't playing badly but apart from their result against the weed Huddersfield are having real trouble scoring goals - at home against us it took them 80 minutes to get a shot on target. So if any of those get a couple of results they're next in the firing line.

I don't suppose we'll get much change out of the bin dippers. Zaha's fantastic and their defence might wobble but Salah looks absolutely unplayable.

We have a good run in to the end of the season. So with players coming back & playing in style which suit our players we have every chance of beating the drop once again.

I pointed out on another thread the psychological boost being out of he relegation zone will be, especially as the result against Liverpool cannot push us back down there as Stam play Saints.

Don't worry the Beast has much to prove in this game and fire will be coming out of his nostrils. The Taming of Salah. In terms of fixtures both Stoke and the Spammers have very hard Aprils, see them both struggling. Also our last 2 games both teams might well be down. Get to 35 points by then and think we will be fine. 5 performances like yesterday and it will be a stroll.

The recent games against the top teams were we picked up no points, but a degree of confidence that no-one spanked us, plus a great result yesterday has left me a lot more confident - Wilf makes such a difference.

We have a good run in with players coming back. Our fate is in our own hands. Roy is a good manager so we have every reason to be optimistic

Some say he was quiet yesterday but he is definitely the talisman, a huge outlet for the team to relieve pressure/put us on the front foot as Roy said in his post match press conference.

An average of a point a game should just about be enough for us.

I would like to see us safe with a couple of games to go but I fear it may come down to the game against West Brom. They should have nothing to play for by then and Selhurst would be rocking. It would be a real upset to lose that game.

All I wanted this season from the get go was to finish higher than the weed and avoid relegation.

I think our problem in the Premiership has always been one of continuity. A manager that stays for more than a season and believes in the club, a few players in come summer and imo, we could see the club we have dreamed of for many a year.

I hope not, teams that are already relegated play with no pressure and generally better.
If you think Sakho will tame Salah, you maybe in for a surprise.
