By the time we got around to doing anything he'd be drawing his pension anyway. But even at £100k a week anyone would be a bargain if they were effective and helped us to get 12 points.

He will only be a free agent in the next transfer window as he is currently under contract to Nice and, even if he weren't, he would have had to have been a free agent in the last transfer window and we also have a squad of 25 now.
