I think this goes here but feel free to move to general. I was wondering what people's thoughts were on same sex couples using a surrogate mother or adopting?

Not a fan. So straight couples should not let it happen on purpose either?

I’m more intrigued about how men who come out as gay who’ve already started a family, how on earth did they get it up for a woman if they were gay? Surely the idea of having sex with a woman was so disgusting a thought and erection was a world away from happening?

Can’t have an unplanned kid if you are openly gay and in a same secx committed relationship, every child that they have is harder to get, i’m all for it. Can’t say the same about a lot of non same sex couples that end up having a kid they didn’t really plan and hadnt prepared to have.

Not a fan. I don't like the media trying to normalise something I don't consider the better way of bringing up children. They just want an argument.

I wouldn't call it news or politics. In fact I see no reason why they feel the need to announce this at all. Tell your families and friends, but no one else cares. The same goes for Jay-Z and Beyonce dragging their kid along everywhere. Your famous, she isn't, leave her at home like every other parent in the room did.

married couple announce baby on twitter to their followers. Thousands of people announce pregnancies on social media every day. I dont see the problem in a loving couple bringing up a children. You might have been bullied 20 years ago but not today.

Children with same sex parents are rare and still are bullied for it.....what kind of bubble are you living in? Children get bullied for being different on just about anything. Good luck to 'em I say; as long as the child is loved and has a stable and happy home that's the most important thing.
