It all feels like doom and gloom, but we are better off than last season. Which is somewhat of a positive. Plus if I remember we were really hovering in the relegation zone last year. It was between far fewer teams than this year. We've got a tough couple of fixtures, but if we manage to get a win or two in the tough fixtures, we can come out better than last year. We've had a s*** transfer window. But we will stay up. We will get a goalie in the summer finally and hopefully strengthen up the squad for next year. Let's give the boys as much support as we can. I know it is hard too as a lot of the players are underperforming, but hopefully they will perform like the true eagles they are! Attachment: l06eRkl.png (98.27Kb)

Roy has only 11 players he trusts right now and they're not playing all that well

This time last year was where we embarked on our winning run... Sadly with the fixtures coming up this may not be repeated.

Would happily take 2 points from those 4 games if offered them now and then try to get the remaining 8/9 points we'll probably also need from the other 7 games.

We had a team last season. Now we are down to the bare bones, with the match-winners in the injury room.

Quite, Roy has done well with what he inherited but injuries and a poor transfer window will leave us wanting. We missed our chance in the last three games to get some points ... now we could face the consequences.

Signings were good. Sorloth so far has played his part well. But considering our squad situation. It still leaves us very short. Especially in the goalie department

My concern is that we may have flirted with relegation once too often. This is the fifth season that we will no doubt be gnawing away at our finger nails as we approach the latter part of the season. Villa and Sunderland spring to mind as other sides who have recently dropped down after 2/3 seasons of close escapes. Our form will definitely have to improve if we are to stay up - we have looked unconvincing recently. We were rather lucky to beat Burnley, and even when we played well and dominated in the 2nd half against Newcastle we still couldn't score from open play. And then Everton last weekend ... I do fear that those first seven games without a point may well come back to bite us.
