I found a small crumb of comfort after a weekend when nearly everything went against us!! Has anyone seen Southampton's remaining fixtures?- they have got 7 games away and only 4 games at home (2 of those are Man City and Chelsea). They are in huge trouble, i know everyone down there is, but still!!! I did not realise how awful there run in is. Likewise Stoke will rue that last minute penalty miss. That has put a lot of pressure on them. Before they play us in the penultimate game, they have at least 5 games where its difficult to see more than a couple of points for them

Think Huddersfield will still be one of the three even though I'd find it tough to disagree with the three you've put. Think Stoke will scrape above Huddersfield in the end.

I think we all have to just support our lot as much as possible and just focus on surviving. There are some very odd results popping up at the moment, probably because Man City have basically already won the league and so perhaps the top teams have lost some focus, so you can't discount Southampton picking up some unexpected results.

You always see teams at the end of the season getting surprise results and the key is being focused, organised and willing to fight. For me that is almost as important as who your team are playing and that is also why I think we will stay up.

At least some of the more negative supporters are not on the pitch, otherwise we really would be screwed.

At the end of last season, Southampton got rid of Puel despite getting to the final of the League Cup and finishing 8th in the PL.

One can only speculate on the future of Pellegrino at the end of the season - he might be gone even if they stay up.

Looking at their squad, consider their midfield options - Romeu,Davis,Redmond,Tadic,Lemina,Ward-Prowse,Hojberg,Boufal.Much better than what we have available at the present time.
In attack they have new signing Carrillo,Gabbiadini and Long - Austin is injured.

I said it back in the summer the stupid b@stards were going to choose the wrong manager in Pellegrino and we'll take the scraps of an unsuited De bullsh1t when we'd both be better off the other way round. The styles were completely unsuitable. Only Roy corrected my prediction, only I thought Southampton's poor season wouldn't be bad enough to relegate them. Hopefully it will.

Stupid b&stards should've stuck with what a manager offers technically rather than hoping the next Argentinian wonder manager.

It is amazing people are giving their relegation three. At the moment every team in the danger zone is winning, except Palace and Southampton this weekend. Expect WBA to beat Chelsea tonight.
There is now no stone cert for the drop but past season's have suggested a 'safe' middle table team will hit the skids. Look out for Burnley. Amazingly Palace have a run of hard games against the better clubs coming up, but going on what's happening, these games may be better for points than against the team's seemingly in trouble.

At the end of the day it’s down to the players on the pitch ,and the Saints having been selling there best ones year in year out.
However like us they can still save themselves.
Plus they can always turn to the magical “Black Box” in the Summer.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

Adrian Burnley already have enough points in the bag.
Any 3 from the Cherries down.
If West Brom lose tonight they are in trouble.

Their problem recently hasn't been who they've signed or kept tabs on but rather not signing anyone in January. They're bringing in a lot of money and not using it.

Whoever chose Pellegrino should be demoted though.

Maybe you're right and I should prefer our previous method of very little or no scouting, just panic or hope someone lands on our laps, like some soon to retire striker, or just not signing hardly anyone now that we need now and in the summer anyway.
