...explain to me why we can't train these idiots* to hit a shot on target. As far as I could see we were the best team there, if we'd hit at least one of our four or five misses on target we'd have won. Is it an untrainable thing that we just haven't been able to do for ages? Or are we just not training them to do it well enough?

At least we didn't lose, though we get far too many Get Out of Jail Free cards from penalties, can't last.

*Obviously I don't think they are idiots I'm just pissed with them at the moment and I need to rant.

Absurdly negative.

According to the premier league form guide over the last six games we are 8th, just behind Chelsea and two places ahead of the goons.

I can think of very few reasons for berating the wise man who trains our team. We have effectively reaped all our 26 points from 19 games. In our last fifteen or so matches, we have only lost to Arsenal. Some record.

Moreover, we do score enough goals to draw and win matches.
Equally, Arsenal apart we are not conceding many.

Reasons to be cheerful?

I can't believe I've just mentioned Arsenal 3 times in one post. I feel dirty now. See what you made me do?

27 points. Should be 29 but we can’t score.

29 should be 33 but we can’t score injury time penalties either!

Anyway, we are in the mix, and as I posted tongue-in-cheek elsewhere; we are equal 11th on points.

His problem is at times he look not interested or just wants to stand expecting people to direct the ball straight at him also he is one of these players he wont score just a toe poke he has to go for fancy finish.

I honestly don't think I'm being negative (more constructive criticism) at all, as far as I could see we were by far the better team, even when they had loads of players in the box we still managed to make a chance to score, it's just our final touch from, it seems everybody, not just Benteke, was awful, if we could get that sorted out (and I really can't agree with "Moreover, we do score enough goals to draw and win matches" ) we would be laughing.

And it's an honest question, is there anybody here that actually knows about training and can tell me if they think that is an area that's being concentrated on because from a layman's point of view it looks like we haven't got a clue in that area and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Hopefully Sørloth can help us improve that aspect of our game.

I also think that's why Sako is such a loss and why he did so well for us recently, he could actually hit the ball on target.

Unfortunately we lack the players who are able to shoot with accuracy and power from a distance. When did we last score a goal from a shot outside the area ? That is why the injury to Bakary Sako is such a loss to the team..he has been the only player to shoot with power, pace and accuracy.

When it comes the important clinical moments in a game , attacking , we are f#cking dog s#it.
Wilfs one on one in the first 5 minutes, the best I was expecting was a penalty. Benteke through on goal with the keeper to beat, no one even moans anymore, it’s expected that it won’t end with a goal.
How many one on ones has Benteke missed and straight forward headers , that end up wide or over the bar? People saying he is feeding on scraps are delusional.
Even if the Norweigan boy is useless and doesn’t score, it would still be no worse than that Belgium mug.
Got the right f#cking hump today and it was cold. (Anyone see the 2 fellas in the Holmesdale in shorts? Need sectioning.

Fairly obvious to me a few on here have never played football before. Some very silly comments indeed, Benteke had a reasonable game today but could do better, he did win the penalty for us. Just keep the faith we WILL give somebody a good hiding soon!!

It's fair enough saying that (I mean I haven't played in years and years, booze and fags are far more important) but back it up with something of substance if you reckon know so much. I would be interested to hear your take on our finishing, I do honestly think it's a big problem.
