I know videos can sometimes mislead but if this is anything to go by, he looks like he could be some player. Gotta say out of the 3 signings he's by far the one who excites me most, especially if it's true that we've got some form of meaningful purchase option at the end.

We don't; Roy has confirmed that there's nothing in place currently beyond a loan for the remainder of the season. YouTube videos tell you nothing; there's one on there that makes Scott Flinders look like Gianluigi Buffon.

Seen it reported in a few places that we have an option on him but haven’t seen this.

They don't *necessarily* tell you anything but the more detailed ones you can find the better, which is why I liked this and he's certainly a style of player we have lacked for many years. That on top of the fact that he comes from a club with a brilliant scouting network who are renowned for young talent and he's the youngest out of the 3. It's a better indication by far than watching paint dry. For example, if you watch a Messi compilation on YouTube, it will be most likely bena very good video. The point being, it's not that videos tell you nothing it's just as we know there are a million and one other factors to consider than just a highlight reel. As I stated at the beginning of the original post, videos can be misleading and it may mean not much at all but I'd much rather watch a player in action than nothing.

The only impressive goals in that video were the ones at the 1 minute mark, 2 minute mark, 2:20 minute mark and 3:20 minute mark. He wasn't a costly option this winter, but he's certainly not a certain win. We'll see how this goes

Roy likes playing with "wide midfielders" who are flexible, as oppose to traditional wingers. Hence us seeing Loftus-Cheek and Mccarthur play there on an number of occasions so I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him play there if and when he does feature. His movement would suggest he's quite a technical player so you'd hope that brings flexibility with it too.

We are doing Benfica a favour just like Man U and Chelsea by developing their players then sending them back. A fine short term plan but hardly long term thinking to have 3 first teamers on loan and leaving end of the year, which we would have if this guy turned out be good and RLC didn’t get injured.

It's £10m for doing SFA, isn't it?
